POTD Thomas the cat

So I am on day 4!  Today will just be another photo.  Hopefully tomorrow I will have more time to post a crafty project.

So this is Thomas.  He is very annoyed that I have been trying to get a good photo of him while he naps.  :)

Sending My Love plus POTD

So here's to day 2 of blogging!  :)

Today I am sharing a card I made using the PCP sketch sk010111.

The stamps are by Unity from the Hodge Podge of Happines set.  The pattern papers are by Basic Grey.

Next I am sharing my Photo of the Day for the 365 Project:

I came across this little drum when we were putting away decorations.  I just caught my eye and so it became the POTD.  I actually took a few other photos but I'll save those for a different day.  :)

I also picked my word of the year today.  I have never done anything like that before but I decide to try it this year.  You can find more information on it on Ali Edward blog:  http://aliedwards.com/blog/one-little-word
I thought about what word to pick for a long time and actually wrote down several options.  The word that came to me the most was CALM.  I felt that I would really like to be CALM this year since 2010 was very chaotic.  So here's to hoping I can find be CALM and keep the CALM.

Trying again

First HAPPY NEW YEAR!  Here's to a wonderful 2011!!  One of my resolutions this year is to take more pictures.  I found a website called 365 Project that I think will help me do this.  Another resolution is to blog every day.  I figure if I take a picture every day I can at least blog about the photo.  :)  So it's just about midnight but I am still counting this as day one.  :)

Here is my photo of the day:

I love those stacking dolls!

Anyways here's to keeping my resolution!

So I am finally posting the Halloween card I made for some friend's of ours.  I used the Mojo 110 sketch for the design.  The stamps are from Inkadinkado.  I just love every stamp in that set! The papers are Recollections by Michaels.

Gift card holder

This is not the card I planned for today but today did not go as planned.
This was a gift card holder that made as part of a challenge for I heart papers birthday party.
The stamp is by Unity.

Another photo posting

My plan was to post a card today.  I finished the card but just didn't get it uploaded.  Hopefully tomorrow I will get it posted!  :)

For now here is a picture of a little squirrel we saw a few weeks ago.  Isn't he adorable!

Brrr!

I am so not ready for the cold weather to start.  Today was such a cold icky rainy type day.  The wind was super cold on my walk today and made me wonder how fast Fall will go by.  I love Fall.  It's my favorite season but it seems to go by in the blink of an eye.

I am sharing a few Fall photos so I can enjoy the season a little longer.

Chills and Thrills

So I am trying to get back into blogging.  Hoping I can keep at it this time.  :)

Sharing a card I made recently for a contest at I {heart} papers.

The skeleton and sentiment stamps are by Cosmo Cricket.

Hopefully I can get a few more Halloween cards done this week.

Sew What?

When I saw this week's MOJO Monday sketch I immediately thought of the spool of thread stamp from the April Store Kit of the Month by Unity.  I used paper from the DCWV Crafty Stack.

Flutter!

Happy Mail Day!

I was fortunate to get done from work early today and when I came home I had a package waiting!  Yay!  I received my April Store Kit of the Month by Unity!  Love, love, love this kit!  So with a little extra time today I made a card using the butterfly (of course) for this week's Card Patterns sketch.

Papers are by Making Memories.

Share your Ippity Blog Hop!

*** Please start the hop at: http://alifeunrehearsed2.blogspot.com/

Bonnie Rose is hosting today's hop along with 2 sketches 4 you.
This hop is all about showing off the wonderful Ippity stamps.
{ippity} stamps is the 'sister' company of Unity Stamp Company.
You can read all about the Ippity OpportUNITY here on their very own blog!
Click all the sections on top.. lots of information -- it's so much fun being an {ippity} chick!

I created this card using two different sets of Ippity Stamps:

The sentiment is from the Where You Should Be set.
The super cute scallop edge is from the Sweet Thoughts Of Spring set.
Here are a couple of close ups of the flower I made using this Large Flower Punch by Martha Stewart.
I just love the layers.

I hope you enjoyed my post and I hope you find a lot of inspiration on this Ippity Blog hop today.
