Another photo posting

My plan was to post a card today.  I finished the card but just didn't get it uploaded.  Hopefully tomorrow I will get it posted!  :)

For now here is a picture of a little squirrel we saw a few weeks ago.  Isn't he adorable!

Brrr!

I am so not ready for the cold weather to start.  Today was such a cold icky rainy type day.  The wind was super cold on my walk today and made me wonder how fast Fall will go by.  I love Fall.  It's my favorite season but it seems to go by in the blink of an eye.

I am sharing a few Fall photos so I can enjoy the season a little longer.

Sew What?

When I saw this week's MOJO Monday sketch I immediately thought of the spool of thread stamp from the April Store Kit of the Month by Unity.  I used paper from the DCWV Crafty Stack.

Happy Mail Day!

I was fortunate to get done from work early today and when I came home I had a package waiting!  Yay!  I received my April Store Kit of the Month by Unity!  Love, love, love this kit!  So with a little extra time today I made a card using the butterfly (of course) for this week's Card Patterns sketch.

Painting the Roses

So this is the third week of challenges for the Oh Alice blog.  The challenge this week was to use the colors red, blue and PURPLE.  This card started out so wonderful in my head and did not turn out that way.  Sigh.  I really debated whether to even post it but I decided I have participated in the other two challenges so I didn't want skip this one.  The background stamp is by Great Impressions.  The flowers and sentiment are digi stamps by Sassy Studio Designs.  I colored the flowers red, blue and purple for this weeks color challenge.  I then used Glossy Accents over the color to make it look like wet paint.  I really liked how it looked.

Embrace Each Moment

Happy Friday! I am so excited to be participating in the FWF blog hop. I have been MIA for a while and I am finally getting my Mojo back. Yay!

Speaking of Mojo I used this week's Mojo sketch to make my card. I also received my very first Ippity set this week Just Wanted to Say. I used the frame from the Ippity kit. The sentiment is from the Bevy of Butterflies kit by Unity. The patterned paper is from the My Mind's Eye Home collection. Love those sparkly papers!

Oh Alice Sketch Challenge

The second challenge on the Oh, Alice! blog was a sketch challenge. I love sketches!! For this challenge I also decided to try digi stamps for the very first time. (I know, I know.) I found this wonderful FREE digi by Wild Flower Kids that just so happened to be an Alice image! Yay! You can find the image HERE. She was so much fun to color!

Here is the sketch for the challenge:

thinking of you card

I made this card using the Mojo 124 sketch.

I intended to use this sketch when it was originally posted on the Mojo Monday blog but I didn't get around to it. Actually I have a tendency to print out sketches and not use them right away. Oh well I still liked how this one turned out. I am also entering it to the Moxie Fab challenge.

The stamps are by Unity. The butterfly punch is Martha Stewart. Pearls are by Reflections (I believe they are the Michael's brand). Papers are by Making Memories.

Wonderful You

I created this card for the Tuesday Trigger on the Moxie Fab Blog. The card used for the trigger had a lot of yellow. I tend to shy away from yellow but I am happy with the result. The stamped sentiment is from the October Store Kit of the Month by Unity. I used a Martha Stewart border punch along the bottom of the kraft cardstock. The pearls are by Prima.

Oh Alice Challenge

I found a new challenge blog called Oh Alice. The challenges are based around Alice in Wonderland. How fun is that? The first challenge was to get inspiration from this awesome make up kit:

I broke out my Shroomies stamp by Queen Kat. The sentiment stamp is by Unity from the November 2009 Kit of the Month.

Here is my take:

I really enjoyed this challenge and I can't wait to see what's in store for the second challenge! Thanks for stopping by!

Another challenge card

I used this weeks sketch at Get Sketchy for my challenge card. The stamp is by Unity Stamp Co but I can't link to the set. I received the stamp set free with one of my KOM sets. The sentiment says Your dreams are just beyond the Horizon.

Here is this week's sketch:
