We are at day 5 of the 7 day Sketchfest over at Caardvarks. Loved today's sketch! I always find it interesting to see how my card comes out. It's never quite like I picture in my head. Sometimes better, sometimes worse. Not sure about today's outcome. I like it but it definitely looked different in my head. :)

Sketchfest Tuesday - Happy Birthday Wishes

So it's day three of Sketchfest on Caarvarks. Wonderful sketches so far this week. I have been able to finish the cards quickly. That's very helpful since I have to work all day so I only have a short time to play in my scrap room. I decided to turn the sketch today because the ideas were just not flowing for the vertical sketch.

Here is today's sketch:

And here's my take on the sketch:

The happy sentiment is from the Flirty Flower set by Unity. The Birthday wishes sentiment is from the Love in the air set by Unity.

I didn't have a lot of time to come up with card today since today is my Dad's birthday and I spent the day at my parents. I came up with this card in about an hour! :) I did look at the sketch before I left today so the ideas were running around in my head. :)

Friends with Flair - Happy Holidays

Another Friday Friends with Flair! So I thought the unofficial theme for today was to use the Unity Addicts challenge from this week. I guess it was "Things that grow." Oops! I already started this card though and didn't have time to change it.

So here is my holiday card using Red, Blue, Pink and Kraft:

The flower stamp is from the April Kit of the Month. I stamped the flower with Positively Pink ink from SU.

The sentiment is from the Bitty Christmas Tags kit. I stamped the sentiment with Brilliant Blue from SU.

The gems are red (they kind of look darker in the picture). They are from Kaiser.

I believe the paper is from DCWV but not 100% sure since it was from my scraps box. Pink paper was also in my scraps box.

Make sure to check out everyone's Friends with Flair blog posts today by starting at the Unity Blog: http://theunitystampco.blogspot.com/ Unity is also having some great contests to kick of their new "Who does that?" motto.

Mojo 104 - Hoppy Birthday

I made a card today for this week's Mojo Monday challenge. I used some images that were given to my from someone in my RAK group. I believe the stamps are from Stampin Up though. I honestly started this card to be a boy card but it ended up girl card. :) I used glossy accents on the eyes. The paper is from DCWV. Flowers are from Prima. I colored the pearls in the center of the flowers pink.

Uh lots of glitter on this one! :) Papers are DCWV. Stamp is Unity from the July Kit of the Month.

And the third sketch:

And my take on the sketch:

This one is my favorite. I used glossy accents on the glass cover. The cupcake stamp is from the August Kit of the Month by Unity. The sentiment is also by Unity (not sure what kit it's from.) Ribbon is American Crafts. Border punch is Fiskars.
